PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of adequately closing a paper feed tray without causing breakage on a lift plate or the like. SOLUTION: A paper feed tray 100 having a supporter 112 to support a lift plate 111 so as to be turnable which supports paper sheets fed by a paper feed roller 90 and presses a front portion of each paper sheet against the paper feed roller 90 is openable and closable from and to the side face of an image forming device. A turning center shaft 114 of the lift plate 111 is supported by an oblong hole 113a formed in the supporter 112 of the paper feed tray 100. An urging member 102 to urge the turning center shaft 114 toward an end on the paper feed roller side of the oblong hole 113a is provided between the supporter 112 and the turning center shaft 114 of the lift plate 111.
