PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed cassette device having simple structure made so that the creases having a way of bending is not generated on the recorded medium to be accumulated. SOLUTION: The paper feed cassette device is composed of an upper surface open shape cassette body 32 and an upper surface open shape extendable cassette part 33 which has a ear end part mounted in the carrying direction of the paper and longitudinally movably mounted to the cassette body 32. A plurality of places of locked parts 37a, 37b for determining the locking position of the extendable cassette part 33 according to the length in the carrying direction of the paper are formed on the bottom plate 36 of the cassette body 32. The extendable cassette part 33 is composed of rear part support plates 51a, 51b having the rear part of the paper, a front wall 50 which is consecutively installed and has a grip part on the outer surface, an operation part 52 vertically installed facing to the inner surface of the front wall 50, an elastic support plate 53 extending from the base part of the operation part to the carrying direction, and a downward engaging pawl at the tip end part.
