PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a molded article, containing mainly a thermoplastic resin improved with its mechanical properties. SOLUTION: This resin composition is characterized by containing 100 pts. mass thermoplastic resin and 0.1-20 pts. mass epoxy resin expressed by formula (I) [wherein, (n) is 0.1 to 30 real number; R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>are each independently H, or a 1-5C substituted or non-substituted alkyl or alkoxy; R<SB>3</SB>, R<SB>4</SB>are each independently a 1-5C alkyl; (p), (q) are each independently an integer of 0-4; and X is H or a glycidyl group provided that≥20% of the X is the glycidyl group].
