WRITING INSTRUMENT WITH A MOVEABLE ERASER

An open barrel traversed by a writing tip (6) exiting therefrom; an eraser which is moveable between an exit position and a retracted position; and an eraser mechanism used to displace the eraser. The eraser mechanism comprises guiding elements (13,14) cooperating with an eraser support which is displaced longitudinally by relative pivoting of the guiding elements as a result of the action of an eraser control (11). A tip mechanism (20) comprises guiding elements (23,24) cooperating with a tip support (22) which is displaced longitudinally by relative pivoting of the guiding elements as a result of the action of a tip control (21). One element (14) of the eraser mechanism is mechanically linked to one element (24) of the tip mechanism.The mechanisms (10,20) are adapted in such a way that it is possible to retract the writing tip by actuating the eraser control as far as the exit position.
