The unit has photo electric cells for generating electric current. The cells are arranged in a housing in a laminar manner. A temperature control (2) effects cooling or heating of the unit such that a constant temperature is maintained. The control consists of temperature sensors, which are arranged in proximity to the cells. A cooling body is designed as a hollow body through which a medium e.g. air or water is supplied. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a photo-voltaic system consists of several photo-voltaic units (B) a method for fixing photo-voltaic-units.
