Production of an elastic film adhesive-coated on one or both sides comprises (1) homogeneously mixing and reacting a polyol and an isocyanate with any further additives already added; (2) applying the mixture onto the non-siliconized side of a one-sided siliconized release paper moving at a constant speed; and (3) passing the paper through a heated channel to harden the polyurethane to give an adhesive and winding up the product. Production of an elastic film adhesive-coated on one or both sides in stamped or cut form for use in residue- and damage-free re-release of bonds especially on substrates such as paper by stripping off and stretching of the adhesive uses a chemically-crosslinked polyurethane-based adhesive, the process comprising (1) homogeneously mixing and reacting a polyol and an isocyanate with any further additives already added; (2) applying the mixture onto the non-siliconized side of a one-sided siliconized release paper moving at a constant speed; and (3) passing the paper through a heated channel to harden the polyurethane to give an adhesive and winding up the product.
