<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable emulsion ink capable of inhibiting development of mold or bacteria in the ink, even after long-term storage, a printer and a printing method. <P>SOLUTION: The emulsion ink comprising at least an emulsifier and an aqueous phase dispersed in an oil phase is used, wherein the aqueous phase contains an antibiotic in an amount ranging from 0.01-1.0 wt.% based on the total weight of the aqueous phase.
