<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of display device, capable of preventing abnormal light emission caused by pollution source adhered to an electron-emitting part and improving the electron emission function of the electron-emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of display device, formed by arranging an anode panel 2 having an anode electrode 15, and a cathode panel having an electron emitting part 9 emitting electron toward the anode electrode 15 and a cathode electrode 5 so as to face each other, comprises a process of jointing the peripheral part of the cathode panel 1 and the anode panel 2, by a sealing material in a state with the electrode forming face side of the cathode panel 1 and the anode panel 2 facing each other; a process of applying surface treatment to the inside of the gap between the cathode panel 1 and the anode panel 2 of which the peripheral part are jointed, by guiding gas from through holes 16A formed either on the cathode panel 1 or the anode panel; and a process of sealing the through holes 16A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
