PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage element including a capacitor that has a high electrostatic capacity and needs no trial operation step to repeat preliminary charging and discharging. SOLUTION: The storage element uses an electrode containing a conductive polymer. The electrode includes (1) a porous carbon material as a substrate, and (2) substantially formed with a conductive polymer layer on the substrate that is formed by electrolytic polymerization, and (3) the conductive polymer layer is doped with a perfluoro alkylsulfonyl imido ion represented by the following formula (α).
