PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size as the whole indicator by reducing sizes of members, and to secure impact resistance and high reliability, in the coordinate indicator used as an input device for an electronic equipment. SOLUTION: This coordinate indicator 11 stores a core 114, a ferrite core 121 moved together with the core 114 when operated, and a ferrite core 122 fixed to be opposed to the ferrite core 121, in a casing comprising an upper case 101, a substrate holder 102, a ceramic pipe 103 and a tip case 104, one part of the ferrite core 121 and the whole of the ferrite core 122 are stored in a tube 115, and a coated conductor is wound around the tube 115 to form a coil 116.
