PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer blade that obtains stable elastic pressing force, has excellent balance between hardness and wear, and is supplied at a relatively low cost without causing a large cost increase. SOLUTION: The transfer blade transfers a toner image carried on the surface of a photoreceptor to a transfer material by applying charges of a predetermined level to a transfer material in contact with the transfer material in the transfer mechanism of an electrophotographic apparatus.
