PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a sample to a mobile phase by a sample constitution without accompanying pressure fluctuations in supercritical fluid chromatography apparatus using the mobile phase containing a supercritical fluid and a solvent. SOLUTION: In the supercritical fluid chromatography apparatus using the mobile phase containing the supercritical fluid and the solvent, a liquified gas for constituting the supercritical fluid or the supercritical fluid and the solvent are mixed in a mobile phase flow channel adjusted in pressure. In this case, a predetermined amount of a sample liquid containing the sample and the solvent is intermittently supplied to the mobile phase flow channel in place of the liquified gas and the solvent mixed with the supercritical fluid.
