PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain measuring data accurate in the concentration of a treatment agent by suppressing the effect exerted on the measuring precision of dissolved organic matter in sample water taken in from an aqueous system and to reduce environmental load. SOLUTION: The treatment agent C comprising an anionic polymeric electrolyte added to the liquid in the aqueous system is made to chemically react with a reaction reagent R to form an insoluble substance the concentration of the treatment agent C is measured by a nephlometric method.
