PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant for liquid crystal panels, excellent in peel strength and liquid crystal resistance and having excellent processability. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel 110 has a structure that a liquid crystal layer 102 nipped with a pair of oppositely positioned substrates 100 is sealed with a sealant 101. The sealant 101 is composed of a composition prepared by mixing a principal ingredient with a curing agent, wherein the principal ingredient contains epoxy resin, polyol resin and inorganic filler and the curing agent contains a isocyanate compound and a silane coupling agent. In the composition, isocyanate of the isocyanate compound reacts with hydroxy of the polyol resin and excess isocyanate reacts with epoxy of the epoxy resin, and epoxies react each other.
