PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper folding device capable of putting strong folding peculiarity on paper in a short time and an image formation device capable of efficiently folding the paper after image formation. SOLUTION: The image formation device (1) is provided with a tray (71) having an opening at a folding part (70) for folding the paper after image formation; a pair of rollers (73); a blade (74); and a pair of heating and pressing plates (76, 77). The blade (74) presses a central part of the paper to a pressure-contact part of the roller (73) and the roller (73) clamps and folds the pressed paper. The heating and pressing plates (76, 77) clamp the crease of the folded paper and press it while heating. During the heating and pressing plates (76, 77) heat and press the crease, the end of the paper far from the crease is removed from the roller (73) and the paper to be subsequently folded is fed to the tray (71).
