PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hand or the like from being injured by an exposed end edge or the like. SOLUTION: At least portions A1, a11, b11, c11 and d11 of end edges of a box-forming plate-like member 1 for use in folding and forming a packaging container are formed into semi-arcuate continuous corrugated shapes having cycles of 4 to 8 mm and a depth of 1.5 to 3 mm. By such an arrangement, it is possible to prevent either a hand or a finger from being injured by end edges of the plate-like member even when the plate-like member 1 is folded to form the packaging container or when the container is closed or is opened at its seal.
