PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cavity-containing film for a drip absorbing sheet which suppresses the lowering of commodity quality caused by the drip formed from food and is hard to visually confirm the drip absorbed by an absorbing body even if the addition amount of titanium dioxide to the film is reduced. SOLUTION: The cavity-containing film laminated to a nonwoven fabric to be used as the drip absorbing sheet has a polyolefinic resin layer wherein 88-92 mass% of a polyolefinic resin and a 8-12 mass% of an inorganic filler (containing no titanium dioxide) are compounded (the sum total of two is 100 mass%) and the light transmissivity of a wavelength of 770 nm measured according to JIS K 7105 is 4% or below.
