PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable brush having a base plate and a number of projections formed on one face of the base plate by projecting part of the base plate, securing enough and uniform buckling strength even if the projections are made higher, and having excellent brushing performance. SOLUTION: This disposable brush has the base plate 2 and the number of projections 3, 3, ... formed on one face 2S of the base plate 2 by projecting part of the base plate 2. The areas S1 of the respective base surfaces 3S of a plurality of projections 3A, 3A,... positioned at the central part 21 of the base plate 2 are larger than the areas S3 of the respective base surface 3S of ta plurality of projections 3C, 3C positioned in the vicinity of the peripheral edge part 22 of the base plate 2, and the projections 3, 3 are disposed so that the arrangement density T1 at the central part 31 of the base plate 2 is lower than the arrangement density T2 in the vicinity of the peripheral edge part 22 of the base plate 2.
