PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide air cleaning apparatus which can enhance antiseptic capability by surely decomposing microbes suspended in the air, and which can enhance air cleaning capability by capturing most of the decomposed microbes so as to prevent them from being discharged into a room, and concurrently enhancing both of bactericidal efficiency and dust collection efficiency. SOLUTION: In this air cleaning apparatus, an air blower 2 and an HEPA filter 6 as a dust collector are housed in a main body 1 which is equipped with an air inlet 9 and an air outlet 3, and a draft air duct S, which leads to the air outlet 3 from the air inlet via the HEPA filter by the action of the air blower, is provided in the main body 1.
