PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes hanger for hanging clothes such as a T-shirt, a crew-neck or V-neck sweater or the like whose neck part is open and whose front is closed, without deforming the shape of the neck part of the clothes. SOLUTION: The clothes hanger comprises a T-shaped sliding rod 3 supported slidably upward/downward to a vertically long rectangular base plate 2 by a guide piece 13, racks 5 disposed on both sides of an upper rod body of the sliding rod 3, and a pinion 8 disposed in a proximal end part 7 of a shoulder receiving rod 6 to be engaged with the racks 5 of the sliding rod 3.
