PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine in which an operating section to stop a variation of patterns is operable. SOLUTION: The game machine has a game start commanding means (start lever 6) to output a game start command signal to command the start of a unit game (one game) in accordance with a start operation by a player, a pattern display means (reels 3L, 3C and 3R) to display a plurality of patterns, a pattern variation means (stepping motors 49L, 49C and 49R) to vary a plurality of patterns displayed in the pattern display means in accordance with a game start command signal outputted from the game start commanding means, a stop signal output means (touch panels 7L, 7C and 7R) to output a command to stop the variation of patterns performed by the pattern variation means in accordance with a stop operation by a player.
