PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display stand, excellent in the strength, to be easily assembled at a low cost. SOLUTION: The cardboard display stand comprises a plurality of shelf stages 1 disposed above and below, a pair of side panels 3 connected to a front panel 2 of each shelf stage 1, and a back panel 4 connected to the side panels 3. A shelf board 7 is extended from the upper edge of the front panel 2 constituting each shelf stage 1, and both side edges of the shelf board 7 and the side panel 3 are connected via a foldout piece 8. The borderline between the foldout piece 8 and the side panel 3 is a backward-rising oblique folding line 9 of 45°. An insertion piece 11 is provided at the distal end of the back panel 4 extending from one side panel 3, and a joint flap 5 is extended from the other side panel 3. A slit 12 is formed in the base of the joint flap 5, and the foldout piece 8 is tucked into the inside of the side panel 3 while the borderline between the foldout piece 8 and the shelf board 7 is bent in a V shape.
