PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic container capable of preventing a cosmetic tray or cosmetic material from being broken or injured because of the impact of falling, having a reduced number of parts, without requiring an adhesive layer. SOLUTION: The cosmetic container comprises a container body with a cosmetic tray storage recess 1a formed on the upper surface, a lid body 2 for covering the upper surface of the container body 1, and the cosmetic tray 3 detachably stored in the cosmetic storage recess 1a. A collar part 22 is formed to project on the outer peripheral surface of the upper end rim of the cosmetic tray 3; the collar part 22 of the cosmetic tray 3 is detachably fixed to the container body 1 with the bottom wall of the cosmetic tray 3 and the bottom wall of the cosmetic tray storage recess 1a being separated and forming an air layer in-between.
