PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame type kitchen unit permitting variation of the position of a partition frame in the widthwise direction and having a piping concealing member adaptable to the variation of the size in the cross direction accompanying the variation of the position of the partition frame. SOLUTION: The kitchen unit comprises a pair of end frames 1 separated left and right from each other and standing to face each other, a top panel 3 bridged over the upper ends of the frames, and a top panel support frame 4 which is disposed parallel with and between the end frames and whose position can be changed to the left or right between the end frames. The kitchen unit also has the piping concealing member 7 which can be telescoped according to the change of the position of the top plate support frame 4 to the left or right to conceal horizontal piping 2 exposed to the floor surface 6 within a block 5 divided by the top plate support frame 4 and the end frames 1. Accordingly, the position of the top panel support frame 4 as the partition frame can be smoothly changed without impairing the concealing effect of the piping concealing member 7.
