PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchip enhanced in a function of amplifying a nucleic acid and having high throughput capacity. SOLUTION: The chip (microchip) 10 used for purifying/amplifying the nucleic acid is equipped with purifying wells 11 (11a, 11b, 11c) which purify the nucleic acid from a sample by using a magnetic material comprising magnetically responding particles, a nucleic acid amplifying well 12 which is connected to the purifying well 11c by a channel 13 and amplifies the purified nucleic acid, and a heating coil 14 which is located in a position corresponding to that of the nucleic acid amplifying well 12 and conducts induction heating of the magnetic material for the purpose of amplifying the nucleic acid purified by the purifying wells 11 (11a, 11b, 11c).
