<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring function for discovering illegal contents and their senders in a P2P content distribution. <P>SOLUTION: The content distribution system includes a content service terminal 4, a content sending terminal 2, a metadata-to-be-monitored management terminal 6, and a patrol terminal 7. The management terminal 6 has a DB 9 for extracting content description metadata showing copyrighted works, and a management DB 8 for the metadata distributed over a network 1. The management terminal 6 specifies a network that includes a terminal sending the metadata to be monitored among a list of metadata monitored in the copyrighted work DB 9. The patrol terminal 7 sends search information that corresponds to the specified network, and if any illegal activity such as copyright infringement or content alteration has been found, warns of the suspected terminal of the illegal activity, and stops the distribution of the contents if necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
