<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein since an on-vehicle pulse wave radar device or the like is required to detect an object over a wide range of several centimeters to several meters, an amplifying circuit having a wide dynamic range from a large signal reception pulse wave to a small signal reception pulse wave is required for the receiving circuit. <P>SOLUTION: This pulse wave radar device controls such that the amplification degree of the reception circuit becomes small, immediately after transmitting a transmission pulse wave, when measuring the object at a short distance, and controls such that the amplification degree for the receiving circuit becomes large with the elapse of time, after the transmission of the transmission pulse wave, when the object is measured at a large distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
