PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively correct the curvature of a scan line 22 by using fewer parts. SOLUTION: An optical scanning device 1 comprises a rotary polyhedral mirror 7 for scanning a light ray 3, a reflecting mirror 11 formed throughout the scanning direction area of the light ray 3, and performs scanning of the light ray 3 on an image carrier 12, wherein the reflecting mirror 11 is held as it is nipped between a support member 13 for supporting the reflecting mirror 11 and a pressing member 18 for pressing the reflecting mirror 11 toward the support member 13, and the pressing member 18 is movable in the main scanning direction of the light ray 3.
