PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve analysis sensitivity and accuracy by improving a recovery rate when a sample gas is introduced into the second column side, in a multi-dimensional gas chromatograph wherein the sample gas flowing out from the first column is introduced selectively into the first detector and the second detector after the second column. SOLUTION: When introducing the sample gas into a resistance tube 7 and the second column 5, a three-way valve 9 is switched to the A-side, and makeup gas is sent dividedly to the first detector 4 side and to a branch part 20 side through a branch part 22, and a supply pressure Pm of the makeup gas is set higher than the pressure before/after switching by a pressure control valve 10. Hereby, part of the makeup gas flows surely from the branch part 22 toward the branch part 20, and the sample gas is introduced into the second column 5 side at a high rate without leaking to the first detector 4 side.
