PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, to the utmost, corrosion or contamination of a pressure-detecting element and a wire, in a pressure sensor formed by electrically connecting the pressure detection element to a terminal via the wire on one end side of a case. SOLUTION: This pressure sensor 100 is equipped with a sensor chip 20 provided on one end side of the case 10, and having a diaphragm 21 on the center part on one surface 20a side; the terminal 12 provided on the case 10, whose one end is exposed to one end side of the case 10; and the wire 13 whose one end is connected to the peripheral part on one surface 20a side of the sensor chip 20, and whose other end is electrically connected to one end of the terminal 12. In the sensor 100, the peripheral part on one surface 20a side of the sensor chip 20 and the wire 13 are sealed with a mold resin 25, and the outer periphery of the mold resin 25 is sealed with a gel protective member 27, and the sensor chip 20 is faced to the connector case 10 on one surface 20a side having the diaphragm 21.
