PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper garment of a two-piece type Kimono at the lower part of which an omission-forming part is provided, so designed as to regulate the positioning relation between a tightening string and the upper garment so as to loosely form the omission. SOLUTION: The upper garment of a two-piece type Kimono is formed as follows, shown in Fig.2: making a string-through passage along the lower parts of the right and left back body parts; inserting a tightening string through the string-through passage; providing a loop for making the tightening string pass through at the back side of the left-collar lower part; and attaching a holding member for holding both sides to the lower outside of the right front body part and the lower part of the left gusset.
