PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas valve for beverage container fitting, which is attached to the mouthpiece of a beverage container such as a beer barrel, connected with a dispensing head, and can increase sealability by increasing a centering property between the gas valve and a beverage valve. SOLUTION: This gas valve for beverage container fitting has a core bar 31 which is formed by being bent to the outer peripheral side from the inner peripheral surface at the top, and a highly flexible valve member 32 including an outer periphery abutment section which is integrally formed with the core bar into a rotation symmetrical shape, and is positioned in the vicinity of the outer peripheral side top, and an inner periphery abutment section 36 being positioned in the vicinity of the inner peripheral side bottom section. In the inner periphery abutment section, the shape of the cross section of a plane including the axis of the valve member includes an arc section 361 of a central angleθ, which is positioned at the upper part, and a linear section 362 which is smoothly connected with the arc section.
