METHOD OF INSTALLING PLURALITY OF SQUARE TYPE ELECTROMAGNETIC CHUCKS IN PARALLEL ON WORK TABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of arranging a plurality of electromagnetic chucks in parallel for preventing positional deviation of a workpiece of a large dimension on a work table. SOLUTION: The plurality of square electromagnetic chucks 2 are arranged in parallel so that the longitudinal direction sides of the square electromagnetic chucks 2 where the bottom part flanges 22 of the chucks 2 exist may be the fore-and-aft direction of the work table 4 by using a plurality of female screw holes 41 provided in advance on the work table 4 of a machine tool. By screwing male screw bolts for fastening into the female screw holes 41 and screwing a fixing metal fitting 40 to the male screw bolts, and pressing the flanges 22 by the fixing metal fitting 40, the electromagnetic chucks 2 are fixed in parallel to the work table 4.
