<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact IC card reader, with which even a visually impaired person as an object person for position confirmation can easily recognize the reading position of an IC card. <P>SOLUTION: The non-contact IC card reader/writer is provided with a communication section for communicating with the IC card, and a data processing section which is disposed on the side of the communication section so as to be continuous with the communication section, and processes data of the IC card inputted to the communication section.
