<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the original information quantity of a bar code without changing a code system. <P>SOLUTION: This bar code 30 is constituted of striped patterns constituted of a plurality of bars(black lines) of different thickness and a plurality of spaces(white or non-printed sections), and provided with first information in a horizontal direction, wherein at least one bar is provided with second information. Concretely, bars(black lines) 31, 32 and 33 of an item code are respectively constituted of striped patterns 31a, 32a and 33a where the plurality of bars(black lines) of different thickness and a plurality of spaces(white or non-printed sections) are arranged in a direction orthogonal to the line directions of the bars (black lines) 31, 32 and 33 so that the bar code can be provided with the second information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
