<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify that page changing display is performed and to prevent time required for the page changing display from being increased. <P>SOLUTION: When a page forwarding instruction is detected, that is, a changing display request from a currently displayed page to the next page is detected, a display apparatus 10<SB>1,2</SB>is rewritten sequentially for each pixel row along a reverse direction to a page forward direction of contents. Therefore, the contents of the next page is displayed on the display apparatus 10<SB>1,2</SB>from an end section of the page forward direction. By displaying that a page to be changed is gradually appeared on the display apparatus 10<SB>1,2</SB>, it is notified that page changing display is being performed.
