REACTOR EQUIPPED WITH HEAT GENERATOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion ceramic module using waste heat and self-operation type electrochemical reactor comprising the module.

SOLUTION: The reactor equipped with a heat generator is for carrying out chemical reaction of an object to be treated by using electric energy and characterized in that the reactor is a self-operable electrochemical reactor equipped with a heat generator without requiring power supply from outside since it is provided with an electrochemical cell for causing chemical reaction by using electric energy and heat generator having an oxide thermoelectric conversion module for conversing waste heat from outside into electric energy. Nitrogen oxides in an exhaust gas of an automobile can be decomposed and removed by the electric power obtained by utilizing waste heat of the exhaust gas.
