PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency receiver in which impact of a jamming wave can be lessened without limiting the signal bandwidth, altering the receiving frequency or the input frequency to a demodulator, or enhancing the filter characteristics. SOLUTION: When a jamming wave is detected from the output signal of a second mixer 108 through a directional coupler 201, a band-rejection filter 202, and a detector 203, a control section 113 controls the oscillation frequency of a first synthesizer 105 to attenuate the jamming wave.
