PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heterojunction with which quantum chaos property can be controlled for a wide range even if a single material is used, and to provide a quantum chaos device, a method for controlling quantum chaos, and a semiconductor device. SOLUTION: In the heterojunction, a first region having an electronic system characterized by quantum chaos, and a second region having an electronic system characterized by integrability, are adjacently arranged, and the electrons can be transferred between the first region and the second region. Quantum chaos properties of the electronic system in the system formed of the first region, and the second region is controlled by effect of a spin orbit mutual action.
