PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hardly cause a kink of an optical fiber cable and to improve the flame-retardant characteristic. SOLUTION: A braided layer 19 made of metallic wires is arranged on the outer peripheral of an optical fiber cord 17 and the outer peripheral of the braided layer 19 is covered with flame-retardant polyolefin resin 21 which is thermoplastic resin.
