PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sericin-apatite complex particle controlled in a diameter and a molecular weight of a sericin or a thickness of an apatite layer and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: In the sericin-apatite complex particle, a layer of apatites is formed on at least a part of the surface of the spherical sericin. In this spherical sericin, a bridge is formed in its molecule through isocynates, wherein the spherical sericin has a mass-average molecular weight of 5,000-300,000 and a mass-average particle diameter of 0.2-20μm.
