PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly stop a toilet seat or a toilet lid at an open position in an electric opening/closing device of the toilet seat/lid. SOLUTION: This electric opening/closing device is provided with a brake area adjacent to the open position of the toilet seat 4, and a means of setting a target speed range of 2 or more levels in a speed evaluation point provided in the brake area, determining whether the toilet seat 4 reaches the open position or not, and learning and controlling the target speed range.
