PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants type disposable diaper in which the moving and falling down of the diaper hardly occurs due to the movement of a wearer during wearing the diaper. SOLUTION: The whole length of the diaper in the expanded state in the longitudinal direction is 440 to 530 mm, the length of the side seal portions is 90 to 140 mm. The average value of a pressure of a second area at the time of wearing the diaper is 0.9 to 1.8 kPa and the maximum value of the same is not more than 2.5 kPa, when virtual dividing lines dividing the area from the waist opening portion to the leg opening portions in the diaper in the bonding state into four in the longitudinal direction are made, and a first area, a second area, a third area, and a fourth area are virtually thought in series from the waist opening portion side.
