PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner allowing a user to surely pull out dust in a dust chamber without getting the hands dirty. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with a cleaner body (not shown) having an electric blower (not shown) and a dust box storage part (not shown), and a dust box unit 4 detachably mounted on the dust box storage part. The dust box unit 4 is provided with a coarse dust chamber 43 and a fine dust chamber 47 which have opening parts 43b and 43b for catching the dust and taking out the dust, a lid body 48 openably/closably covering the opening parts 43b and 47b, and scraping plates 82a and 82b approximately parallel to the accumulation direction of the dust in the coarse dust chamber 43 and the fine dust chamber 47. The scraping plates 82a and 82b are provided with hooking parts 82c and 82d hooking the dust, and the dust accumulated in the coarse dust chamber 43 and the fine dust chamber 47 can be surely pulled out by the scraping plates 82a and 82b without getting the hands dirty.
