TOOTH BLEACHING METHOD AND PLAQUE CONTROLLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth bleaching method which can be executed by a person who likes to whiten the teeth at home without going to a dentist and is more convenient and excellent in safety while having the same bleaching effect of the office bleach, and a plaque controlling method which can prevent a decayed tooth and a periodontal disease. SOLUTION: A distinctive feature of the tooth bleaching method and the plaque controlling method is brushing the surfaces of the teeth while the light is emitted from a dentifrice containing titanium dioxide which generates a photocatalytic action by the radiation of light and a compound which can generate hydrogen peroxide placed on a tooth brush having a light emitting function.
