The improved level indicator consists of a row of metal or non-metal modular elements each with a slot, closed by a transparent element which allows the level of the fluid on the inside to be viewed. A seal is inserted between the end-side walls of two adjacent elements and has such a height that the two ends of the elements remain slightly spaced apart, allowing slight vibrations of one element in relation to the other. The seal may be a metal seal with a spiral-form progression.
