ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

An adhesive composition which is curable with moisture and excellent in adhesiveness and resistance to moist heat and can exert excellent endurance even when used in bonding materials having coefficients of linear expansion different from each other. Specifically, an adhesive composition containing (A) a component having a reactive silicon containing group which contains (c) a compound obtained by reacting (a) a silane coupling agent having both a reactive silicon containing group and a functional group with (b) a compound having both at least one group reactive with the functional group and at least one aromatic ring, wherein the component (A) has a number-average molecular weight of 800 or below per reactive silicon containing group.
