<p>The invention relates to an improved method for the synthesis of sodium pentaborate pentahydrate (NaB<SUB>5</SUB>O<SUB>8</SUB>.5H<SUB>2</SUB>O), consisting in reacting disodium tetraborate decahydrate (DTBD, Borax) and orthoboric acid (OBA, boric acid). The inventive method is performed over a period of no more than five days and does not require the use of fungal strains. The invention also relates to the product thus obtained, which is intended to boost the immune system against ailments caused by bacteria and viruses, to the pharmaceutical compositions thereof and to the use of same in relation to said ailments.</p> |
