<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to select contents to be reproduced when a state is switched again to the reproduction of a content server after switching to another content source during the reproduction of the content server connected through a network in a content reproducing device. <P>SOLUTION: The content reproducing device 25 has a content server 26 connected thereto through a network, and is capable of reproducing the contents of the content server 26. When a content source to be reproduced is switched to another content source of a DVD or the like from the content server 26 during the reproduction of the content server 26, the reproduction of the content server 26 is stopped, and a list of contents reproducible on a monitor screen is displayed.
