PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic electroluminescence element which is driven by a low voltage and has high emission efficiency. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element includes an intermediate unit 30 arranged between a cathode 51 and an anode 52, a first luminescence unit 41 arranged between the cathode 51 and the intermediate unit 30, and a second luminescence unit 42 arranged between the anode 52 and the intermediate unit 30. An electron drawing-out layer for drawing out electron from a layer adjacent to the cathode side is provided at the intermediate unit 30. The absolute value ¾LUMO(A)¾ of the energy level of the minimum sky molecular orbit (LUMO) of an electron drawing-out layer, and the absolute value ¾HOMO(B)¾ of the energy level of the maximum occupied molecular orbit (HOMO) of the adjacent layer, are in a relation of ¾HOMO(B)¾-¾LUMO(A)¾≤1.5 eV. The intermediate unit 30 supplies holes generated by drawing out the electron to the first luminescence unit 41, and supplies the drawn-out electron to the second luminescence unit 42.
